A graduate of Cornell University, Larry Feinblum enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth activities. Involved with his community, he supports both the Port Washington Youth Association and the Community Synagogue of Port Washington.
A Jewish community in the reform tradition, the Community Synagogue of Port Washington has provided a place of worship for local Jews since 1957. The synagogue adheres to a set of core values that foster inclusiveness and inspire spiritual relationships with God. First and foremost, activities and teachings at the church are rooted in a respect for Jewish tradition. The Community Synagogue also strives to treat others with friendliness and compassion, honors lifelong Jewish milestones, and fights for social justice causes.
Further, the church provides education on the Torah and positive worship experiences for members, while also promoting community engagement and empowering Jewish youth. Finally, the synagogue supports Jews across the globe and the state of Israel as a democratic institution.
